Something similar happened to Vinod’s son Jagdish, a resident of the village of Kasni. Where he was previously given a bill of Rs 58,390 for domestic connection, he is now visiting the office to have the bill of Rs 52,078 repaired. Victim Vinod said he supports his family on daily wages. In order to correct the amount of more than 58,000 rupees in the last bill, he had to hand in his daily wages and come to the office several times. His last appointment was January 2, 2023. When his bill was corrected after the investigation, he was ordered to pay an amount of Rs.714. After he had repaired the bill, he got the amount transferred.

Wrong invoice sent for the second time in a row

According to Vinod, he was again given an invoice for 52078 due to the negligence of the department staff. The last date to fill out this invoice is February 28th. If he doesn’t pay his electricity bill within this period, he will have to pay 53473 rupees. If aggrieved consumer Vinod is to be believed, the limit was reached when he arrived at the office on Monday to get his electricity bill fixed. The officials sitting there said that his bill was actually about one lakh ten thousand rupees, which was not enough until later about fifty-two thousand rupees were sent.
