Sonipat: A complaint was torn up and scuffles broke out with police personnel at Badi police station. In this regard, Badi police station has filed a case against four persons, including two women, for obstructing government work, ripping up complaints and assaulting government employees. The police are investigating the matter.

Investigating officer ASI Satish Kumar said that a complaint of a missing girl from a village in Badi police station area was received at the Badi police station on October 3. The police then registered the case and investigating officer Havildar Dinesh started searching for the girl. Meanwhile, on October 19, a report of the missing girl was received at the Badi police station. In it, the girl said that her relatives tortured her. Subsequently, investigating officer Havildar Dinesh informed the girl’s family about this complaint over phone.

Thereafter, the girl’s mother along with her brother, a relative and another woman reached the police station and started taking photos from her cellphone after complaining to the investigating officer. When the investigating officer refused, the girl’s mother, in a fit of rage, tore up the complaint and began screaming. When police officer ASI Seema heard the voice and tried to calm her down, the accused attacked and abused Seema and her. The remaining police personnel then reached the spot and carried out rescue operations. ASI Satish Kumar said that the police have registered a case against four people, including the two named in the complaint, and initiated action.
