Sonipat: A year ago, a day before the governor’s program on Haryana Day, Murthal’s DCRUST proved allegations regarding the consumption of alcohol by officials and the insertion of alcohol bills into the file of children’s food and beverage bills. The report of the committee of inquiry has been sent to the deputy commissioner. Based on the report, a recommendation on how to proceed against the accused officials is sent to headquarters. There will definitely be action against 4 officers in this whole episode. It was learned that, based on the report, two officials from the administration and two officials from the government could be fined.

Let us tell you that the day before the governor’s program, a committee of inquiry was set up into alcohol consumption and linking children’s bills to food bills. A separate committee was formed, chaired by CTM, to investigate the matter at the district level. This committee has completed the investigation and has now presented the report to the DC. Based on the investigation report, DC Lalit Siwach said the allegations had been proven in the investigation. Now they will forward the investigation report to the head office for further processing.

That’s the whole thing

Last year, on November 1st, the Haryana Child Welfare Council organized a program at Murthal University to reach Governor Bandaru Dattatreya. Some officers had arrived a day earlier and were staying at the Rai Rest House. Officers are alleged to have been consuming alcohol during this time, and later the liquor, beer and soda bills were added to the children’s food and drink bills file. When the matter broke, Councilwoman Ranjita Mehta had also claimed to be conducting a full investigation and formed a committee that submitted a confidential report to the DC, but in the meantime the county government has formed a committee to conduct its own level investigation. DC Lalit Siwach had appointed CTM to chair the committee.

Officers have signed bills of 31,000

An invoice number 012734 was found in the Haryana Child Welfare Council file. This bill was from a liquor contract in Bahalgarh. It is alleged that the then District Child Welfare Officer, District Program Officer, Assistant District Child Officer and Treasurer signed the Liquor Bill of Liquor and put it on the record. Grocery bills of Rs 10597 and Rs 21463 were also imposed along with spirits. These bills were approved and sent to the DC office.

DC Lalit Siwach said a committee was also formed at the district level after the issue of allegations of including alcohol bills in Haryana Child Welfare Council’s bills came to the fore. The committee of inquiry gave me the report on Monday. The allegations were proven in the investigation. Now the report is sent to the head office for further processing.
