High Power Working Committee meeting chaired by the Chief Minister approved 4 projects valued at approximately 155 crores

Chandigar: The Haryana Engineering Works (HEW) portal, launched by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal to invite electronic tenders for engineering work for the first time, is proving effective.

For the first time today in Chandigarh, four Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority projects worth about Rs 1.55 crore were approved by the High Level Working Committee chaired by Prime Minister Manohar Lal for the allocation of Rs 10 crore engineering works. At the meeting, it was informed that MG Road, the main street of Gurugram, would be beautified along the lines of Lodhi Road in Delhi. Apart from that, the service lane, sales zone and bus shelter from IFFCO Chowk to Sikandarpur metro station are also getting a facelift. Speaking to reporters after the meeting, the premier said that the HEW portal is a new engineering work experiment for the first time. L-1 and L-2 were called by the contractors.
