Gurugram: Tianna Phogat, a 16-year-old student at Cyber City Gurugram’s DAV school, once again brought credit to her country and state by winning a medals hat-trick at the International Shooting Championships. Tiana Phogat shot for gold in the 50m free pistol team event at the ongoing World Senior Shooting Championships in Waku City, capital of Azerbaijan. At the same time he won the bronze medal in the individual event over 50 meters free pistol. Tiana also continued that winning streak by winning the bronze medal for her country in the 25-meter standard pistol team event.
India showed its strong presence at the International Shooting Competition by winning a total of 6 gold and 3 bronze medals. Tiana thanked her parents and coach Rakesh Singh for her win and said she didn’t work alone to reach this point. The truth is, the hard work and sacrifice my parents made to make me successful cannot be expressed in words. In fact, Tiana started her fight for a medal at the World Championships by winning a bronze medal at the 2022 World Junior Shooting Championships in Egypt. Tiana Phogat, daughter of Devendra Phogat and Neelam Phogat, works as a senior physical education teacher at a prestigious school in Gurugram and is a year 11 student at the DAV School, Sector 14. Tiana developed an interest in shooting sports from an early age. The result is that today she showers medals for the country.
