Haryana: Haryana’s Deputy Prime Minister Dushyant Chautala said the road from Titaram More Village in Kaithal District via Hansi and Jind would be four lanes, which would cost about 75 crore rupees. At the same time, works to improve the road leading from Titaram village to Rajound village will soon begin. The population of about 100 villages will benefit directly from the establishment of the four-lane road. The Deputy Prime Minister took part in programs organized in the villages of Titaram, Deoban, Kazan, etc. in Kaithal District.

He said that 50 percent of public representation in Panchayati Raj institutions in the state is reserved for women. A budget of 800 crore rupees is earmarked for the improvement of the ponds in the villages. The beautification work on about 1600 ponds has been completed. Gymnasiums and parks are being built in rural areas. He complied with the demands of the Gram Panchayat and the villagers, saying that all villages with ponds would be improved. Under the Shivdham program, cremation sites that lack roads, sheds, potable water, etc. will be completed immediately. Sheds and blocks are erected for places of prayer in schools. The road from Songal village to Devban is under construction and provision is made for the installation of streetlights from the highway to Devban village. All chaupals in all villages that need repairing will be completed immediately. The Anganwadi Center building will be constructed in Devban village. After Gram Panchayat has provided land in the respective villages, large community buildings are constructed.
