gurugram : Cybercrime East team have busted a fake call center that has duped people out of Rs 1.6 crore in the name of investing in the stock market. The police arrested 13 people, including two foreigners from the center. The defendant used to lure people by giving people good returns in the name of investing in stock markets, cryptocurrencies and the international stock market. When people invest, the accused create their virtual accounts and give an amount at the beginning, when people invest more, their number gets blocked. The police will bring the accused before the court and collect the fraudulent amount through a pre-trial detention.

In fact, in a complaint to the police, one person said he was cheated out of Rs 1.6 crore in the name of investing in the stock market. The victim came into contact with the scammers through ads/popups on Facebook. He was assured of huge returns by investing in the stock market and later his phone was blocked. The police had registered a case and taken action.

The defendants were identified as Konstantin Philippsi (Latvia) of Latvian origin, Albert Saribekyan aka Peter Gaurav Verma aka Prashant Goyal of Uzbek origin, Melbin Mazon aka Ryan Mathew, Rakesh S. Nair aka Cameron Wlasin, Evin Mathew aka Adam John aka Adam Marcus, Rohinth Hari Chakraborty aka Rajkumar, Dipanshu Verma aka Deepak Malhotra, Aman Grover aka Dushyant Singhania, Tejinder Singh aka Tejinder Grewal, Neeraj aka Nikku Tandon, Chahat Agarwal aka Aryan Kashyap and Dilshad Khan aka Samaira Ali.

Later he would be asked to invest more money. If he invests more money, he doesn’t get any money back. Stop talking to him and block his numbers.
