Attempted suicide: Woman jumps into pond with 2 children because of domestic conflicts, 4-year-old child dies

Sonipat: In Bhatgaon village, a woman tried to commit suicide by jumping into a pond with two children due to domestic violence. Villagers immediately rescued the woman and girl from the pond, while the 4-year-old child died from drowning in the water. The police were informed of the incident. The police took the child’s body and sent it to the Civil Hospital for an autopsy. The police are investigating.

Troubled by the argument at home, a woman named Suman attempted suicide by jumping into the pond with 7-year-old Naina and 4-year-old Aditya. After the villagers received the information, they reached the spot and by jumping into the pond, the woman and child were safely retrieved. While the 4-year-old child could not be saved. The child died because it drowned in the water. The villagers informed the police about the accident. Police arrived at the site, retrieved the child’s body from the pond and sent it to the hospital for an autopsy. The incident is told at 5 a.m. Sadar Police Station in Male is investigating.
