Ambala: Haryana’s Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Anil Vij, raided the Mullana CHC (Community Health Center) when he was returning from the inauguration ceremony of Mukund Lal Civil Hospital in Yamunanagar. Health Minister Anil Vij noted that doctors and staff were absent when he entered the CHC. Seeing this scene, Anil Vij got angry and shouted at the staff. Many employees were found absent from the CHC and suspended. Those present at the CHC were also shocked when they saw Anil Vij’s angry face.
Health Minister Anil Vij had the attendance records of doctors and staff on site checked and ordered the suspension of five staff, including two absent staff. Suddenly, Anil Vij arrived and ordered MPHW Anita Rani, MPHW Boti Devi, RKSK Advisor Vijay Kumar, MPHS Satbir Singh and Case Officer Pawan Kumar to be suspended from duty for absenteeism. On the other hand, the doctors and other staff were also reprimanded when they saw that the CHC was empty. He also questioned the staff regarding the vacancy of the CHC.
Inspections are carried out in each station of the CHC
Health Minister Anil Vij suddenly raided the Mulana CHC in the afternoon. As soon as he entered the CHC, members of the general station and staff were missing from their chairs. Health Minister Anil Vij then called the staff and asked if there were any staff at the hospital. A few moments later, doctors arrived at the scene and spoke to the health minister. Meanwhile, Minister Vij called him for staff non-appearance and asked him to bring the attendance list.

During the CHC raid, Health Minister Anil Vij went to the general ward and spoke to the patients admitted there. He asked the patients whether doctors came to examine them and what time the doctors examined them. The Minister of Health then went to different rooms of the hospital and checked the presence of doctors and staff. Meanwhile, staff were found not to be in their seats, which angered Minister Anil Vij.
