Ambala: A sanitation worker committed suicide by hanging himself in the hostel of the Polytechnic College in the city. The deceased has been identified as Ashok Kumar of Garnala village. Ashok Kumar worked as a sweeper in the hostel of the Polytechnic College under the Skilled Employment Department. Police conducted an autopsy on the body and handed it over to the family members. The police are investigating the matter.
According to the college management, Ashok Kumar came for duty on Thursday morning. I had brought my son home from school that afternoon. After that, after reaching the hostel, one or two people also met Ashok. After that he went missing. His friends started searching for Ashok Kumar at 4 p.m. When he looked out the window, Ashok Kumar’s body was found hanging in the dressing room. After the door was broken, Ashok Kumar’s body was brought down. The university management immediately informed the police. Police attended the scene and initiated further action after taking possession of the body. The reasons for the suicide are not yet known. The police are investigating the matter.
