Ambala: CM Flying searched the tehsil on Wednesday and checked the records. Led by Sub-Inspector Hitendra Kumar, XEN Ranbir Tyagi of Irrigation Department was also present as duty judge. Assistant Sub-Inspector Parvindra Singh and Assistant Sub-Inspector Rajbir Singh, who were part of this squad, also thoroughly examined the entire records of the Tehsil. Naib Tehsildar was not in the office during the investigation.

During the inspection, out of the 12 employees employed in the tehsil office, 6 were found present. An employee went on well-deserved vacation. One staff member has been deployed for Bharat Sankalp Yatra. 4 employees were found absent. Based on the list found during the investigation, a total of 1,772 deaths were identified. From November 20 to December 20, 2023, 462 registers were found in the Tehsil. On Wednesday, online applications from a total of 37 registries were found. 228 cases were pending in the Naib Tehsildar court. The investigation team also conducted a surprise inspection of the Patwar Khana. Four patwaris were not found here. During a surprise search, some registers were taken into custody on suspicion. Explaining the pending deaths, Naib Tehsildar said that the post of Tehsildar in the Tehsil was vacant. He is in charge of both Narayangarh and Shahzadpur. There is a lot of work and a shortage of employees and computer operators. Because of this, deaths are pending. A letter has been sent to the Deputy Commissioner in this regard.
