Ambala: Man dies after drinking poisonous alcohol, villagers complete contract

Ambala: A person died in Sohana village after drinking poisonous alcohol. So far, three people in the district have died as a result of alcohol. Afterwards, the villagers created a ruckus at the liquor sale. Then the villagers completed the contract and raised slogans against the contractor. According to the villagers, six people have already died in the village as a result of alcohol. However, administration officials do not clarify the situation regarding the records of these deaths.

CIA Shahzadpur yesterday arrested Mowgli, the mastermind running the liquor factory in the case, from Kala Amb. Now the police have taken Mowgli into custody. Now the villagers of Sohana are extremely angry over the recent alcohol-related death in Sohana. Due to the ongoing deaths, the villagers did not even celebrate Diwali this time. Due to the gravity of the matter, ADGP AS Chawla had inspected the illegal factory two days ago. 200 cases of liquor manufactured in this factory were delivered to Yamunanagar itself. Police have so far arrested 20 accused in this liquor scandal, including Ambala Yamunanagar. One defendant died from alcohol. He had also consumed alcohol before his arrest. In Ambala and Yamunanagar, 22 people have died due to poisonous alcohol in the last five days. However, autopsies were not performed on most people who died from alcohol. The relatives of some said it was another cause of death.

Don’t leave the contract open

Villagers of Suhana reported that seven people have died of alcohol in their village so far. He said that the contractor of this village-based contracting company was continuously supplying poisonous alcohol. Because of this, villagers die after consuming it. The villagers clearly stated that they would never allow the treaty to be opened. This has ruined many families.
