UP Nikay Chunav: AAP will contest civic body elections in UP, promises to waive house tax half and water tax

UP Municipal Election: After forming the government in Delhi and Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party has decided to contest the municipal elections in Uttar Pradesh. AAP will contest for the posts of Nagar Panchayat, Nagar Palika President and Mayor in 633 municipal bodies of UP. Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has given information about this in a press conference on Sunday.

AAP’s Uttar Pradesh unit in-charge Sanjay Singh said that the party is declaring its in-charge in 633 out of 763 municipal bodies in Uttar Pradesh. Along with this, 164 in-charges are being made in Municipalities, 435 in Nagar Panchayat and 34 in Municipal Corporation.

He said that the party will contest the elections with strength on all the posts. Sanjay Singh said that the people of the country are influenced by the principles of Arvind Kejriwal and that is the reason why the people of Delhi elected him three times. He said that the people of Delhi have liked the Chief Minister’s model of education, health, medicine, transport, electricity and water very much. Along with this, he said that on these issues the people also gave the command of Punjab to the Aam Aadmi Party. MP Sanjay Singh announced to contest the elections and said that if the candidate of Aam Aadmi Party wins, we will waive house tax half and water tax.

During this, Sanjay Singh accused the central government and said that the way the central investigative agencies are being used unconstitutionally. He said that he would raise the issue of misuse of investigative agencies in the Parliament session. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party is expanding rapidly. Party workers have raised public issues from time to time.
