Raghav Chadha Bungalow Row: AAP MP Raghav Chadha has got a big relief from Delhi High Court. Delhi High Court has canceled the decision of Patiala House Court to vacate the government bungalow. While giving its decision, the High Court said that Raghav Chadha will not have to vacate the existing Type-7 government bungalow.

The decision was reserved on October 12

On Thursday, October 12, Delhi High Court had reserved its verdict on the petition filed by Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha challenging the order of Patiala House Court. The Patiala House Court had given permission to the Rajya Sabha Secretariat to evict him from the government bungalow. Raghav Chadha had approached the High Court regarding this decision.

In Delhi High Court, Justice Anup Jairam Bhambhani had reserved the order after hearing senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi appearing on behalf of Chadha and ASG Vikram Banerjee appearing on behalf of Rajya Sabha Secretariat. At the same time, earlier on Wednesday i.e. on October 11, detailed information was given to the court by both the parties. After this, the court had reserved its decision on October 12 after hearing the arguments of the advocates presented on behalf of Raghav Chadha and Rajya Sabha Secretariat.

Let us tell you that Chadha had approached Delhi High Court against the decision of Patiala House Court to vacate his government bungalow. In his petition, Chadha sought a stay on the court order in which the Patiala House Court had told Chadha that he had no right to continue occupying the government-owned Tier 7 bungalow on Pandara Road.
