Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij took a jibe at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and said that it is Kejriwal’s habit to accuse others. He said that it is the nature of water that it will flow from top to bottom and Delhi is far below Hathini Kund. Vij was replying to a question regarding Kejriwal’s statement that Haryana has deliberately released water towards Delhi, regarding the rise in Yamuna’s water level in Delhi.
The Home Minister said that even in Haryana, water has come from outside from Himachal Pradesh and Punjab, but we are not blaming. He said that we are trying to arrange this water. Taking a dig at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, he said that Kejriwal ji is very sensible, very intelligent, he should change the nature of the water itself, the water should not come down but go up.
In response to a question regarding the statement of the PWD Minister of Delhi, he said that there are cities and villages of Haryana on the banks of Yamuna, the same amount of water has come in them. He said that Delhi is only 6 km away, after leaving Delhi Yamuna water goes to Haryana only, otherwise will we deliberately release water in our own districts.
