Haryana :Sarvkhap mahapanchayat was organized at the historic platform of Chaubisi in Meham, in which all the khap panchayats, farmers’ organizations, women’s organizations and common people participated, to get justice for the women wrestlers who were protesting at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. This mahapanchayat of khaps was presided over by Mehar Singh Nambardar, head of Chaubisi Sarvakhap panchayat. Olympian wrestling player Sakshi Malik and farmer leader Rakesh Tikait also reached this panchayat.
During this, wrestler Sakshi Malik said that today it has been 29 days since she staged a sit-in at Jantar Mantar. But the government is not listening to them. He had only two demands. Brijbhushan Sharan should be punished for the wrong he has done to the girls. Brij Bhushan has set his men in the Federation. Those people should be thrown out of the Federation and good people should be brought into the Federation. Sakshi Malik said that they are fighting for justice and truth. If you find any fault in me then he is ready for any punishment. At present, they are needed with Khap Panchayats.
Everyone is arrested after the case is registered, do-Tikat for that too
Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait said that if a case is registered then everyone is arrested. When everyone is arrested, do it too. Or the government should bring an ordinance that no one will be arrested after the case is registered. Bring an ordinance the way they brought an ordinance against the Delhi government. Tikait said that till the arrest of Brijbhushan Sharan, he is with the wrestlers. It is necessary to know that this movement will also go on for a long time. Don’t know how long it will last. But it looks like a long battle will have to be fought.
11 member committee constituted
An 11-member committee was constituted in the presence of representatives of hundreds of Khap Panchayats across the country. This committee gave its verdict. Which everyone supported by raising their hands. The khap panchayats said that they are with the women wrestlers protesting at Jantar Mantar and will immediately attend them on a call.
