On Saturday afternoon, a Delhi Police constable drowned in the NCR Minor passing through village Dulhera. Companions also tried to save him but did not get success. Police and villagers are searching for him in Minor. It has not been recovered even after several hours have passed. The local police have called divers for the search operation.
According to the information, four Delhi Police personnel came here on Saturday afternoon at the NCR Minor located in village Dulheda. All four started taking bath. During this an employee drowned. Companions tried to save but did not get success. When the companions raised an alarm, the villagers gathered. Rescue operation started. After getting the information, the police from Badli police station also reached the spot and started the search. This incident is being told about two o’clock in the afternoon. The drowned employee has been identified as Rakesh. He is a resident of Begumpur area of Delhi. Constable in the Third Battalion of Delhi Police. It is discussed that he drowned due to slipping of his feet. Despite the passage of several hours, he was not recovered from the minor till evening.

PSI Pramod says that initially he has received information that some youths were taking bath in the minor. One of them drowned, he is said to be a Delhi Police personnel. A search operation is being carried out in collaboration with the villagers. Divers have also been called. All possible efforts are being made to search.
