The AAP government in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has decided to install photographs of great Indian leaders- Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh and Dr. BR Ambedkar in all MCD schools. Mayor Dr Shelly Oberoi has instructed to put up pictures of both the ideals in every MCD school to inspire the teacher with their sacrifices, principles and ideals. This decision has been taken under the vision of CM Arvind Kejriwal to spread the message of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Babasaheb Ambedkar among the masses.

The AAP government of MCD believes that by remembering the legacy of these great leaders in all MCD schools, every student and teacher will be inspired to follow in their footsteps. With this the students will work towards creating a more prosperous and progressive society.
Mayor Oberoi said that the contribution of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Babasaheb in the freedom struggle and nation building is incomparable. Through him, we will continue to inspire millions of people across the country. He said that CM Arvind Kejriwal has resolved to fulfill the dreams of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Babasaheb. CM will leave no stone unturned to fulfill Arvind Kejriwal’s vision and mission of taking the ideals of both the great personalities to the masses. We believe that every student of MCD schools should know about the tremendous contribution made by Bhagat Singh and Dr. Ambedkar to India’s freedom struggle and upliftment of the downtrodden sections of the society.
