INDIA Bloc Meeting Today: The fourth meeting of the leaders of the opposition party (INDIA Bloc) will be held in New Delhi today on Tuesday. This meeting will start at 3 pm. This meeting of opposition parties is going to be held for the first time after the suspension of 78 opposition MPs from Parliament on Monday. In such a situation, it is being said that in the meeting, seat-sharing and strategy can be prepared to compete with BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) in the Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2024. Apart from this, an action plan is also expected to be discussed after the defeat in the recent assembly elections in Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
In fact, West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee also met Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Shiv Sena (UBT) President Uddhav Thackeray on Monday. Kejriwal did not comment on the discussions held during the nearly 45-minute meeting at the South Avenue residence of TMC MP and Banerjee’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee. A day before the meeting of India Bloc, the opposition party (INDIA Bloc) said that the Prime Ministerial candidate of India Bloc will be decided after the general elections of 2024. He expressed confidence that the alliance will resolve all issues including seat sharing to defeat the BJP. India or ‘Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance’ is a group of opposition parties including the Congress.
