Independence Day 2023: Today, on the occasion of Independence Day, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi wished the countrymen. On this occasion, Rahul Gandhi said that Bharat Mata is the voice of every Indian, no matter how strong or weak he is. He talked about his 145-day Bharat Jodo Yatra on Independence Day. Rahul said that he had embarked on the Bharat Jodo Yatra to understand what it was that he loved and what it was that he had endured years of abuse.
Rahul Gandhi further said, “The object of my love had suddenly appeared. My dear Mother India is not a piece of land. It was not just a set of ideas either. It was not even a particular culture, religion and history. When I was walking during Bharat Jodo Yatra, many people on the way asked me why are you doing this? Many people were still asking questions today. What have you been searching for so long? What did you get by walking so much? On these questions of the people, the Congress leader said that I wanted to understand the thing that I liked. The thing for which I was ready to give my life, it could make me suffer so much pain for so many years. I wanted to know what are my hobbies, what are my likes?
We will uphold the values of our freedom fighters: Mamata
West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee while congratulating the people of Bengal on the occasion of Independence Day said that the pages of our history have been written for courage and facing challenges. Let us remember our freedom fighters during the flag hoisting and take a pledge that we will uphold their values.
More development will happen if Bihar gets special status: Nitish
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar addressed the people of the state on the occasion of Independence Day. During this, he said that we work and they only do politics. If Bihar had got the status of a special state from the Centre, we would have done more development work.
India can be given free electricity in the coming times: Kejriwal
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal congratulated the people of Delhi on the occasion of Independence Day. During this, he said that as long as the power cut continues for 7-8 hours in our country, India cannot become a world guru. If corruption ends, then the whole of India can be given free electricity in the coming 3-4 years.
