Earthquake in Delhi: Strong earthquake tremors have been felt in many parts of North India including Delhi-NCR. Nepal was the epicenter of the earthquake. The intensity of the earthquake was measured at 6.2 on the Richter scale. Its depth was 5 kilometers. However, no casualties have been reported yet.
The National Center for Seismology said the first earthquake occurred at 2.25 pm while the second earthquake occurred at 2:51 pm. The epicenter of this earthquake was in western Nepal and this earthquake is about 200 km south-east of Joshimath. It is at a shallow depth, so strong tremors have been felt in North India. Many people in North India, including Delhi-NCR, Punjab and Haryana, came out of buildings after feeling the strong tremors, which lasted for more than a minute.
Earthquake hit 4 states on October 2
Strong earthquake tremors were felt in 4 states including Bengal and Assam on Monday i.e. 2 October. The intensity of the earthquake was measured at 5.3 on the Richter scale. At the same time, the intensity of the earthquake in Meghalaya was recorded at 5.2 on the Richter scale. The National Center for Seismology had given information in this regard.
According to the National Center for Seismology, earthquake tremors were felt in Meghalaya today at 6.15 pm on Monday. Apart from this, earthquake tremors were also felt in some parts of Bengal. Let us tell you that due to Gandhi Jayanti holiday, almost people were at home. As soon as the earthquake occurred, there was panic among the people. People came out of their homes. However, no damage has been reported yet due to the earthquake. Apart from this, earthquake tremors were also felt in North Bengal and Darjeeling hills.
