The administration team that reached to remove the encroachment was fiercely opposed by the local people and raised slogans against them. Along with the police, paramilitary forces have also been called to the spot to control the situation. It was told by the administration that this rallying has been installed illegally.

As soon as the team reached, a huge crowd started gathering on the spot. When the administrative team started removing the railing of the temple, people started creating ruckus. People started shouting slogans to stop the action and also obstructed the duty. When the police tried to remove the protesters from the spot, a scuffle started. Seeing the situation worsening, additional police and paramilitary forces were immediately called in. Many people who created ruckus have been detained. However, the situation remains tense.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) corporator Ravi Negi reached the temple site and said that this temple is very old and its railing should not be demolished. Along with this, the roadways have been closed due to increasing ruckus.
