The fervor of Holi is being seen all around. There is zeal and enthusiasm in the hearts, the festival of Holi is very near. Everyone celebrates this unique, colorful festival of the year in their own way and enthusiasm. Holi-Milan is also celebrated a lot with showers of colors on the streets and squares. One such three-day Holi festival is being organized in Delhi’s Sri Sri Rukmini Dwarkadhish Temple ISKCON Dwarka Sector 13, in which Holi will be played with Lord Krishna with flowers.

Along with this, there will be a special attraction of Lathmar Holi here. On the lines of Braj, a group of devotees will enjoy Lathmar Holi fiercely this time. On this day, devotees want to paint themselves in the colors of Holi, just like the way Lord Krishna used to play with his friends, cowherd boys and gopis in Braj.

Significantly, this festival of Holi, which is celebrated on the full moon day of Shukla Paksha of Phalgun month, is also known as Gaur Purnima in the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition and is considered the beginning of the new year from this day. That’s why the Holi festival will be started here on March 5 with a Shobha Yatra. In this festival series, there will be Gaur Katha by renowned storyteller Prashant Mukund Das on March 7 at 8 am in the temple hall. Abhishekam will take place at 6 pm followed by Prasadam distribution.

Archit Prabhu, senior manager of this festival organized in ISKCON Dwarka, says that from March 5, a three-day Shobha Yatra, Gaur Purnima Mahamahotsav and Holi festival are being organized grandly in the temple premises. Gaur Katha, Hari Naam Sankirtan, Gaur Nitai Abhishek of God and Holi of flowers will be played on the occasion of appearance day of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

On the last day of Holi festival i.e. March 8 i.e. Dulhandi at 4 pm, food stalls filled with different delicacies will be set up in the food carnival. Drama-stage presentations will also be presented on special events related to Holi by the devotees of Youth Forum and Girls Forum at 4.30 pm. At 5.30 pm, Lord will be seated in the pandal and Mahabhishek will be performed with 108 divine substances. At the same time, the reverberations of Hari Nama Sankirtan performed by Grammy Award nominated Gaur Mani Mata Ji will drench all the devotees with the colors of devotion. Bhog will be offered to God at 7.30 pm and Holi of flowers will be played after Mahaarti at 8.15 pm.
