Delhi: Property dealer shot dead in mutual enmity, police engaged in investigation

New Delhi: A property dealer was shot dead on Monday afternoon in Bhalswa village of Jahangirpuri area. The name of the deceased has been described as Bijendra Yadav alias Babli (50), a resident of Bhalswa village. Three to four people carried out this incident. The police took the body into custody and sent it to Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital for postmortem. A case of murder has been registered by Jahangirpuri police. The attackers have been identified. In the initial investigation, the matter is being told of mutual enmity. The police are talking about arresting the attackers soon.

According to the police, Bijendra Yadav used to do property dealing and cable business. He was the BC of Shalimar police station. About 10 cases of murder and robbery were registered against him. On Monday, he had reached to attend a Bhandara in the village. At the same time, three to four people fired about half a dozen rounds of bullets on him. Two bullets hit Bijendra’s head. People around took the injured to the hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. Police recovered Rs 66,500 in cash from the pocket of the deceased.

It was learned from the sources that Bijendra was having a quarrel and enmity with a family of the village regarding the property. The police have engaged several teams in search of the killer. Police said that the attackers who carried out the incident have been identified. The attackers are being searched. Police has registered the case and started further action.
