Delhi: ‘MCD 311’ app was launched by Delhi Municipal Corporation Mayor Dr. Shaili Oberoi in the month of August this year keeping in mind the cleanliness of the national capital and other civic facilities, but now the regular use of this ‘MCD 311’ app has been stopped. And due to lack of proper monitoring, the complaints coming here are only being fulfilled.
Let us tell you that both Delhi Government and Delhi Municipal Corporation are governed by Aam Aadmi Party, yet the officials are deferring the complaints to another department because the citizens do not have such detailed information, this was also seen in many complaints. It is clear that the corporation officers, inspectors and sanitation workers know that this complaint is from their department, but still they are trying to hide the complaint by saying that it is from the department of Delhi Government. Be it about public toilets, cleaning of drains or repair of high mast light, the solution is not being found on ‘MCD 311’ app even within 20 days, whereas the claim is being made to get it repaired within 24 hours. .

It is noteworthy that Mayor Dr. Oberoi dedicated this MCD 311 app to the public on August 24, 2023 to keep Delhi clean and claimed to resolve the complaints in 24 hours. Mayor Dr. Oberoi told in the last week of September that about 95 percent of the complaints have been resolved through this app, whereas after this, only satisfaction is visible on the complaints.

For this, the Municipal Corporation has also launched a campaign for the last few months. MCD has launched MCD-311 app. 90-95 percent of the problems encountered on this app are resolved immediately. Everyone should download this app in their mobile. Delhi will not be cleaned by MCD and Delhi Government alone, but only when two crore people of Delhi will together ensure their participation, then Delhi will be cleaned. We all together have to clean Delhi and remove corruption from Delhi.
