New Delhi:A case of gross negligence of the Delhi Police has come to the fore. Yesterday on Tuesday i.e. 4th April, an accused of an auto lifter gang escaped from custody. Delhi Police had arrested many people while exposing this gang. Police had also recovered 12 vehicles from them. After this, the police was taking these accused to the hospital for medical examination. During this, Lakhwinder alias Raju escaped by dodging the police. At the same time, action can be taken against many police personnel in this matter.
Know who is Lakhwinder alias Raju
Lakhwinder alias Raju Bhadana, who is absconding from police custody, is a member of liquor mafia gang and also works to provide imported liquor to senior police officers of Bihar. Disclosing this matter, the Delhi Police said that on Tuesday, the illegal liquor smuggling gang has been arrested. The arrested accused have been named as Kapil Bhadana, 25, resident of Faridabad, Sami Chauhan, 26, resident of Greater Noida, Yahya, 25, resident of Meerut, Naushad Shaikh alias Raju, 48, resident of Kolkata. Along with this, the police said that 12 different models of luxury cars, 10 car keys and number plates of some vehicles have been recovered from the accused.
The police said that they had received information about them on March 2, after which the police started the investigation. During this, it came to know that these people work for Bhadana gang. Kapil Bhadana used to supply liquor to senior police officers of Bihar using stolen vehicles. He was arrested for this only. Police said that the accused were being taken for medical test, but Lakhwinder alias Raju escaped by dodging.
