The culture of Punjab and Bundelkhand came alive on the land of Khairagarh, the students of folk music gave a wonderful presentation

Khairagarh. Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh, once again this week the performances of the students in the weekly program Kala-Chaupal of the Department of Folk Music forced the audience to dance. The special thing is that Sachin Sharma, an officer of the Directorate of Public Relations of Chhattisgarh Government, was also the witness of Kala-Chaupal this time. He expressed his appreciation for the presentation of the students and the teachers who prepared them.

This week The presentations started with the article reading by Aishwarya Patel. Then student Manish Kamde presented Chhattisgarhi folk-song, on which Manoj Dahria and Roshan Rajak were in supporting roles as accompanists.

The next performance was of Bhangra dance, in which Ku. Khushboo Bhumij, Ms. Kusum Soni, Ms. Pallavi Nagdeve, Rohan Janghel, Vikram, Vikas Gaikwad and their classmates brought alive the folk life of Punjab with their dance performances.

Similarly, the students who presented Badhaai dance song Bhuneshwar Sahu, Pramod Sahu, Chandra Prakash Sahu, Dhananjay Sahu, Taran Nishad, Suraj Thakur, Ku. During the entire presentation, Ku. Preeti Ratre, Ms. Aishwarya Patel, Ms. Harsha Sahu, Manoj Dahria, Tahal Sahu, Harsh Chandrakar and others played an important role in singing, playing and music. The program was conducted by student Dhananjay Sahu. Giving critical expression on the presentations, Dr. Deepshikha Patel, Assistant Professor of Folk Music Department, expressed gratitude. On this occasion, Dean of the Faculty of Visual Arts, Prof. Dr. Rajan Yadav, Kapil Singh Verma (Superintendent, Male Hostel), Dr. Nathu Tode from Folk Music Department, Dr. Parmanand Pandey, Dr. Vidya Singh Rathore, Public Relations Officer Vinod Dongre and a large number of researchers and students were present.
