Pradeep Borkar – Khairagarh. In Chhattisgarh’s Khairagarh district, the police have arrested a three-member gang stealing bikes parked without lock along with deserted places for the last two months. The police have seized 14 bills worth Rs 9 lakh from the accused. In two months, 12 cases of bike theft have been registered against the accused across the district. In the press conference organized in the Superintendent of Police office, SP Ankita Sharma said that the accused included two other youths including a bike mechanic. Those who used to earn money by stealing bikes and putting bike accessories in other vehicles to fulfill their hobbies.

According to the information received, the name of the first accused is 25-year-old Lala Verma father Chamru. The name of the second accused is 22-year-old Rohit Verma’s father Prahlad. The name of the third accused is 21-year-old Ramkishun father Rukhum. All the accused are residents of Chhuikhadan village.

12 cases registered against the accused in two months

SP Sharma said that the accused used to target only deserted and unlocked bikes. In the last two months, 12 cases of bike theft have been registered across the district. Two cases have not been registered in the recovered bike. He is also being traced. The stolen bike was recovered from Dokrabhatha Khar of Khairagarh police station area, in front of Ghirgholi temple, Tikripara of Chhuikhadan, Bafra to Maroda road, Village Muteda, Karmatara, Shanti Medical of Bazar Ataria, Village Kesla, Muteda Nawangaon Saliha Marg, and Thana Mohgaon. Bikes stolen from Achanakpur Main Road are involved.
