News2News.in Raipur News:The fifth Raipur International Film Festival is being organized in Chhattisgarh from 28 to 30 April under the aegis of Chhattisgarh Film and Visual Art Society Raipur. For this, the arrival of veteran actors, directors and writers of films has started. These celebrities will attend the film festival organized from April 28 at the Convention Hall, New Circuit House, Civil Lines.

Film festival will focus on women and women’s cinema

This year’s International Film Festival, to be held in the capital Raipur, will focus on the theme ‘Women in Cinema and Cinema of Women’. The film festival will also feature special screenings of some of the films. The special thing is that on this occasion, Bollywood’s famous producer and actor Anant Mahadevan’s film ‘Roughbook’, Tannishtha Chatterjee directed film ‘Rom-Rom’, whose main actors are Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Tannishtha Chatterjee and Vineet Kumar will be screened. All these films will be screened on April 28, the first day of the festival.

Special master classes have also been organized on the topics of writing, ideation, story, screenplay and dialogues for cinema, television and OTT. Dharmendra Ojha will guide the participants in this master class. The second master class will be of Uddhav Ojha, in which information will be given on the changing world of film music, ‘Kal Aaj Aur Kal’. On the second day of the festival, screening of short films of Himani Shivpuri and face-to-face interaction with her has been organised.

Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan’s National Award winning film ‘Lahore’ will be screened under the screening of films. Along with this, a program of dialogue with the director has also been kept. There will be a master class by Raman Chawla on how to approach International Film Festivals. At 6.30 pm the film ‘Bahattar Hooren’ directed by award winning producer Captain Gulab Singh will be screened. Short films will be screened at Raipur International Film Festival on April 30 at 10.30 am. Apart from this, Narendra Rathod’s master class will be based on camera and new technology. The question of copyright in cinema, television and entertainment use, will be Carlita Mohini’s master class on the subject. In the evening at 5.30 pm, the final session of the festival will include screening of Yashpal Sharma’s National Award winning film ‘Dada Lakhmi’ and an interaction with the director.
