In support of their six-point demands in Chhattisgarh’s Sitapur district, Anganwadi workers and assistants have made an emotional appeal to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel while running a postcard campaign to fulfill their demands. Workers and assistants, who have been on strike for more than a month, have demanded the Chief Minister to fulfill their six demands, including payment of salaries at the collector rate and nursery teachers, as promised in the manifesto.

Anganwadi workers and assistants are on strike for one month. In this regard, District President of Anganwadi worker and assistant association, Anupa Kushwaha said that lakhs of workers and assistants from the entire state have been on strike since last January 23 in support of their six-point demands. According to the election manifesto, which is demanding Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel to give salary at the collector rate and the status of nursery teacher.

Postcard campaign of Sangh in the entire state

Tell that the strike is going to be over a month but till now the government has not taken our demands seriously. In order to draw the attention of the government towards its demands, the Sangh will run a postcard campaign in the entire state and convey its message to the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister. In which, making an emotional appeal, the Sangh has demanded the Chief Minister to fulfill its six-point demands including honorarium hike, nursery teacher status. Apart from this, His Excellency will go to the Raj Bhavan and meet the Governor and inform him about her problems.
