Raipur. Employees from all over the state reached Raipur on Sunday. The employees organized an Aakrosh Sabha at Nava Raipur. The protesters, under the banner of the Irregular Employees Front, expressed their opposition fiercely. During this, he handed over the memorandum to the Tehsildar to the government and questioned the government regarding his regularization.
The protesters said that this outrage is due to non-regulation. Let us tell you that even in its budget session, the government did not make any provision for irregular employees. The organization is angry with this and is marching towards the capital to express its protest. Earlier, the Congress had promised to regularize it within 10 days. The employees had high hopes from this but till now no decision has been taken in this regard. Along with this it was also said that there will be no retrenchment but daily wage contract and irregular employees are being removed continuously and even after 4 years nothing is fixed for regularization.
There is no facility even for drinking water at the new protest site.
Along with their basic problem, the employees are facing many other problems. In fact, right in front of the Rajyotsav venue of Nava Raipur, the administration has given the protesters a place to protest. But there are many troubles in this deserted place. There is no facility of drinking water here. Troubled by this, the leaders of the organization said that they have been deliberately sent here for raising their voice against the administration. The picket site should be at the old place of Raipur only. In fact, big protests are not being allowed from the picket site at Budha Talab. So now all the performances are happening in this new deserted place. The administration has not made arrangements even for drinking water here.
preparations for the big movement
The office bearers of the organization said that preparations are being made for a big movement in the coming days. He said that more than 40 different employees’ unions of the state would go on indefinite strike in every district of the state in the coming days. The demand of all is that they should be regularised.
