Khairagarh. On the occasion of World Tribal Day, teachers and students of Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya Khairagarh reached Godgram Jangalpur and celebrated this day with tribal brothers and sisters. Tree plantation was done there. Also, the important contribution of the tribal community in the progress and building of the nation was discussed.

NSS in-charge of Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh, Dr. Diwakar Kashyap told that World Tribal Day was celebrated in Godgram Jangalpur under the patronage of Vice Chancellor Padmashree Dr. Mamta (Mokshada) Chandrakar and the direction of Registrar Prof. Dr. ID Tiwari as per the wish of the Chancellor. Jangalpur is tribal dominated village. Here the villagers were informed about the tribal day. On this occasion, the greeting message given by the Vice-Chancellor was read out. The valuable contribution of the primitive community in the progress of the country and society was discussed by the teachers and students of Khairagarh University. Along with this, plantations were done here.

In this program, Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya Khairagarh Dean (Student Welfare) Prof. Dr. Rajan Yadav, Assistant Professor (Vocal) and NSS in-charge Dr. Diwakar Kashyap, Public Relations Officer Vinod Dongre, NSS Cadets Priyanka Janghel, Rekha Sahu, Pitamber Sahu, Shubham Thakur etc. were present. Whereas, Ashok Dhruv, Pratima Dhruv, Shivlal Dhruv and Panchayat representatives from Jangalpur, Anganwadi representatives, local students and villagers were present in large numbers.
