According to information received from reliable sources, these instructions have been given by Education Minister Ravindra Choubey in a meeting with top officials. Not only is there preparation for an FIR against the guilty officers, but the transfer list of teachers will also be cancelled. This is because these teachers were transferred to their desired places by paying money. However, this will not affect the promotion granted to teachers. His promotion will remain intact, but he will not get appointment at the place where he was transferred after promotion. After the cancellation of the old list, a fresh appointment list will be released.
After the instructions given by the minister to the officials, the Directorate of Public Instruction is preparing to issue an order in this context soon. According to the information received, detailed information about the entire matter was taken by the Education Minister in the meeting. The Education Minister also asked for the details of the officers’ involvement in these and the transfer of teachers. According to sources, Principal Secretary Alok Shukla, Secretary S. Bharathidasan along with DPI and other officials were also present in the meeting.
1366 appointment of teachers wrong
The promotion and transfer of 1366 teachers from all the divisions were found to be illegal in the investigation. Based on the enquiry, 10 officers were suspended by the School Education Department. These include Joint Director of Directorate of Public Education, District Education Officer, Block Education Officer and many other big names. Till the suspension period, all the officers and the principal have been attached to the Directorate of Public Education, Raipur. In these, Joint Director of Raipur Division K. Kumar, Bilaspur Joint Director SK Prasad, Surguja JD Hemant Upadhyay and Durg Joint Director GS Markam.
22 thousand counseling
In the academic session 2022-23, orders for promotion and posting were issued to 22 thousand teachers across the state. Through this, by removing the irregularity of teachers, where there is a shortage of teachers, they were to be appointed. Teachers were to be removed from overflowing schools. But due to transfers taking money, the situation of overflow in schools in urban areas continues. At the same time, the shortage of teachers in rural areas remains the same. The counseling of the teachers was done division wise, from where they were transferred to the desired places by taking money.
