Raipur. Mahadev Satta app related to Durg district of Chhattisgarh is currently creating an uproar in the politics of Chhattisgarh. The team of Enforcement Directorate (ED) is continuously arresting people associated with this betting business by conducting raids in the capital Raipur including Durg-Bhilai. ED presented Durg police constable Bhim Singh Yadav and his partner Aseem Das, associated with Mahadev Satta App, in the court on Friday, where after the hearing, the court sent both the accused to jail on judicial custody for 14 days. Both the accused will now remain in police remand till November 24. Police constable Bhim Singh is accused of meeting Mahadev Satta App promoter Saurabh Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal, while accused Bhim Singh has visited Dubai thrice. Recently, ED had recovered crores of rupees from the house of driver Aseem Das in a raid.
Rs 5.39 crore were recovered
Recently, on November 2, the ED team had conducted a raid in Housing Board Jamul. Crores of rupees were recovered and seized from the house of Asim Das alias Bappa, a professional driver living here. Even before this, ED had seized Rs 5.39 crore cash from the parking and room of a hotel in Raipur. During this time, along with Aseem Das alias Bappa, constable Bhim Singh posted in Durg police also came under the radar of ED. Who was arrested by the team with the notes of online betting app.
