Raipur. In the case of police-Naxal encounter in Tekalguda of Bijapur district in the year 2021, NIA has presented supplementary challan against half a dozen Naxalites in Jagdalpur NIA court on Wednesday. Before this, NIA had identified 23 Naxalites in the year 2022 and 17 Naxalites in 2023 and presented a charge sheet against them in the court. 46 Naxalites involved in the incident have been identified so far. It is noteworthy that 22 soldiers were martyred in the police-Naxalite encounter, when the investigation of the incident was handed over to the NIA. The Naxalites against whom NIA has presented supplementary challan in the court include Manoj Podiyami, Mula Devendra Reddy, Vijja Hemla and three other Naxalites. The Naxalites against whom the NIA lawyer has presented the supplementary challan in the court are said to be involved in Naxal activities for a long time.
NIA has identified these Naxalites involved in the encounter: – Madkam Rama, Sukma, Chhattisgarh, – Nabbala Keshav Rao, Andhra Pradesh, – Muppalla Lakshman Rao, Telangana, – Kattam Sudarshan, Telangana, – Mallojul Venugopal Rao, Telangana, – Sujata. , Telangana, – Hidma, Chhattisgarh, Sagar, Telangana, Nagesh, Chhattisgarh, Madanna, Chhattisgarh, Tati, Kamlesh, Chhattisgarh, – Jagdish Kuhrami, Chhattisgarh, – Rahul Telam, Chhattisgarh, – Vella, Chhattisgarh, – Deva, Chhattisgarh, Raghu Reddy ,Telangana, Nirmala, Telangana, Pawan Hamla, Chhattisgarh, – Joga Mandvi, Chhattisgarh, Situmadakam, Chhattisgarh, – Raje, Chhattisgarh, – Jhitru Oyami, Chhattisgarh, Jogi Hemla, Chhattisgarh.
The encounter took place during searching in Tarem police station area.
It is noteworthy that on April 3, 2021, there was an encounter with Naxalites in Tekalguda of Tarrem police station area along with DRG, CRPF and Cobra battalion soldiers who were out on searching. The number of Naxalites in the encounter was around four hundred. Top cadre leaders of Naxalites were involved in the encounter. Naxalites had fired barrel grenade launcher at the soldiers. After the incident, Naxalites looted the weapons of the soldiers.
Dreaded Naxalites like Hidma were involved in the encounter.
The names of Hidma and Sujata of Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee are also included in the supplementary challan presented by NIA in the court in the encounter with security forces personnel. In the supplementary challan presented by the NIA in the court, it has been told that many Naxalites carrying rewards of Rs 25 to 40 lakh were involved in the encounter with the security forces. In the encounter, the security forces killed four Naxalites on the spot. Along with this, three out of five seriously injured Naxalites died during treatment.
