Raipur. Socio-economic survey of rural families will be held in Chhattisgarh from April 1. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel asked the Chief Secretary to immediately start preparations for the survey by the Panchayat and Rural Development Department. Instructions have also been given to submit the action plan for the survey by March 20, 2023.
The CM has asked for formation of survey teams, necessary training, names of beneficiary-oriented schemes included in the survey, format of survey form and information obtained during the survey, preparation for uploading photographs online.

In this survey, information will be collected about the effects on the economic-social life of rural families due to the implementation of various development and beneficiary-oriented schemes of the Central and State Government during the last 12 years.
Marked eligible families will be able to get benefits
This will help in the formulation of future plans and policies. Along with this, the identified eligible families can be benefitted. Let us inform that the Chief Minister had announced to conduct a survey in Chhattisgarh, mentioning that there is no census in the country since the year 2011.
