Many people arrested so far

According to the Bihar Police, a total of 80 people have been arrested so far in connection with the violent clashes between groups following Ram Navami celebrations in some parts of the state. Those arrested include 18 people involved in the violent clashes in Sasaram. Along with this, the police said that strict action will be taken against all of them.

Amit Shah’s visit to Sasaram canceled

Violent clashes broke out between two groups after the Ram Navami procession in Sasaram on Friday. To maintain the law and order situation, the authorities imposed prohibitory orders under section 144 of CrPC in Sasaram city. Following which Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who was to attend a function in Sasaram town, canceled his visit to Sasaram.
