Anganwadi workers protest: Anganwadi workers and assistants of Bihar created a ruckus in front of the Bihar Assembly regarding five-point demands. All these workers were going to surround the assembly. The police asked all of them not to go towards the assembly. However, when the women did not listen to them, the police used water cannon on them and started using mild force to remove them from there. Some women also suffered injuries in this.

Anganwadi workers have protested several times before to increase their honorarium. All of them say that they cannot survive with an honorarium of just Rs 6,000. The angry women even said that when Nitish Kumar or any of his ministers come to ask for votes, they will pour water on all of them in the same manner.
