School bus and van collide in Badaun.
School Bus-Van Accident In Badaun: This morning, a school bus and a van collided head-on in Mayon area of Badaun, Uttar Pradesh. Five school children died in this. The bus driver also lost his life in the accident. Also, many people have been seriously injured. He has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. After getting information about this incident, police reached the spot.
DM reached the spot after the incident
After receiving information about the accident, DM Manoj Kumar and SSP Dr OP Singh reached the spot. DM said that there was a collision between a school bus and a van in Meow police station area. The administration has given instructions for better treatment of all the injured children. A girl student is also included among the deceased children.
Preliminary investigation by the police revealed that the van of SRPS School located in Mayun town and the bus of Satyadev Inter College had left with children from the villages. Then both of them collided near Naviganj. The speed of both the vehicles was high at the time of the accident. The collision was so strong that hearing the screams of the children, the local people reached the spot and pulled the children out of the vehicles.

The crowd gathered from the family members of the children and the surrounding villages seemed very angry. In view of the anger of the people, heavy police force has been deployed on the spot. Dataganj and Usawan police have also been called to handle the huge crowd at the incident site. Meanwhile, Alapur police force has been deployed to control the crowd gathered at Meow PHC. When the injured children reached the district hospital, along with the crowd, the family members also reached the district hospital and there was chaos everywhere.
