Former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia’s troubles are increasing. Today, Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court has once again extended Sisodia’s judicial custody till April 17. Today i.e. on Wednesday, Sisodia was presented in the Rouse Avenue Court in the money laundering case, where the court has extended his judicial custody. In such a situation, now Sisodia will have to wait till April 17 for bail.

ED gave this argument in the court

During the hearing in the court today, the ED’s counsel said that the investigation in the money laundering case is at its final stage. In such a situation, if Sisodia is granted bail, then there may be a hindrance in the investigation. That’s why Sisodia should be kept in judicial custody for now. At the same time, while presenting his argument, Sisodia’s lawyer also talked about giving bail to Sisodia. After hearing the arguments of both the sides, the court said that the judicial custody of Sisodia is extended till April 17.

Sisodia’s custody till April 17 in liquor scam case

Let us inform that Manish Sisodia was presented in the Rouse Avenue Court on 3 April in the liquor scam case. In this case also, after hearing the arguments of the CBI, the court had extended Sisodia’s judicial custody till April 17. The CBI had also given the same argument in the court that the investigation in the liquor scam case is at the final stage, so if Sisodia is thrown out, the investigation can be affected significantly. Therefore, Sisodia should be kept in judicial custody for a few more days. After hearing the CBI’s argument, the court had extended Sisodia’s bail till April 17.

Hearing in both the cases on the same day

Significantly, the Rouse Avenue Court has extended judicial custody till April 17 in both the liquor scam case and the money laundering case. In such a situation, Sisodia will be heard on the same day in both the cases. Now Sisodia and Aam Aadmi Party will have to wait for 17th April. It will be a matter to be seen whether Sisodia gets bail on April 17 or judicial custody is extended.
