Politics heats up on Manish Sisodia’s arrest

Sisodia was arrested after 8 hours of questioning. At the same time, Sisodia will be produced in the Rouse Avenue Court after 2 pm today. His medical checkup was done. Looking at the security, Sisodia may also have a virtual appearance in the court.

On the other hand, reaction of many veteran leaders is coming on the arrest of Sisodia. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, “I am told that most of the CBI officers were against the arrest of Manish. They didn’t want to arrest him, they all respect him a lot, but due to political pressure he was arrested even though there was no evidence against him.

Targeting PM Modi, he said that with the arrest of Sisodia, it seems that those who speak against the Center are being silenced. Whoever tries to raise voice against the BJP government is silenced by showing fear of ED and CBI. He further asked whether all the leaders of BJP are sitting ascetics from the Himalayas. If so then who looted life insurance, SBI, LIC. Raut further said that no matter how much atrocities the BJP people do, still I will stand with Manish Sisodia and Arvind Kejriwal.
