INDIA Alliance Meeting: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi called CM Mamata Banerjee on Monday night regarding the meeting of opposition alliance ‘INDIA’. TMC chief and CM Mamata Banerjee herself has given information in this regard on Wednesday. He said that on Monday i.e. 4th December, Rahul called me. I told him that no one told me anything in advance about the meeting. I didn’t know anything.

The CM has now given the reason for refusing to attend the meeting. She said that there is a marriage of someone in my family for which I am going there. After this, on Friday i.e. 8th December I will do a program in Kurseong and on 9th December I will go to Alipurduar. He further said that on 11th December I have to reach Banarhat and on 12th December I have to attend a program in Siliguri.

CM Mamta said that I had not received any call regarding the meeting. The TMC chief also said that it is not possible to call a meeting suddenly. He said that I have already scheduled programs in North Bengal. Mamata also mentioned the flood situation in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin is one of the leaders of ‘INDIA’. Mamta said that if any disaster occurs somewhere, the Chief Minister of that state cannot leave the state and go anywhere else, because he has to look after everything.

Let us tell you that last Sunday i.e. on 3rd December, during the counting of votes in four states Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and Chhattisgarh, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge called the INDIA alliance and said that the next meeting of the alliance will be held today on 6th December at his residence in Delhi. Will happen. However, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, CM MK Stalin, Nitish Kumar and Akhilesh Yadav had refused to participate in this meeting. Regarding this, he has given the reason for not attending the meeting today.
