According to media reports, a female wrestler who was protesting at Jantar Mantar was also with him. Amid the ongoing investigation against Brij Bhushan Singh, the woman wrestler’s visit to his residence accompanied by the Delhi Police had fueled speculation.
According to media reports, a Delhi Police vehicle first arrived at the former WFI chief’s residence and soon after another vehicle entered his residence. When the car entered inside the house, a woman wrestler got down with her colleague. After this he stayed there for about 10 to 15 minutes and returned. It is being told that the Delhi Police had reached his residence to recreate the scene.

Responding to this, the MP told the Delhi Police that he was present in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh for a camp for junior wrestlers on 16 October 2017 and was visiting his parliamentary constituency on 17 October.

However, it is expected that the investigation in this matter will be completed soon by the police. Union Minister Anurag Thakur had said that the Delhi Police investigation is expected to be completed by June 15.
