PM Modi Varanasi Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach his parliamentary constituency Varanasi from today on a two-day visit. This will be his 43rd visit to Varanasi in his tenure of nine and a half years. He is scheduled to launch several development projects worth Rs 19,150 crore during his visit on December 17 and 18. He will also flag off the Varanasi-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express train.

PM Modi will flag off the Kashi Tamil Sangam Express from Kanyakumari to Banaras. Before this he will participate in the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra. The projects that PM Modi will gift to Kashi and Purvanchal include many projects including roads and bridges, health and education, police welfare, smart city and urban development projects, railways, airports.

This also includes a dedicated front corridor project worth more than Rs 10,000 crore from New Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay to New Bhaipur. Apart from this, PM Modi will also inaugurate the Lahartara-Phulwaria-Shivpur four-lane road prepared at a cost of Rs 166 crore. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Swaraveda Mahamandir Dham located in Chaubepur Umra, Varanasi on Monday. Will also flag off Varanasi-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express.

Prime Minister will be welcomed with several quintals of flowers

BJP is fully ready to show its strength by welcoming Prime Minister Modi. When Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri steps out of the airport, thousands of party workers and people of Varanasi will welcome him with slogans of Har Har Mahadev. More than 100 reception gates have been made from the airport to Varanasi city to welcome the Prime Minister. Apart from this, arrangements of more than 100 quintals of flowers have been made. BJP state president Dilip Patel said that Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri will come directly from the airport to the small cutting memorial located at Mint House. On the Prime Minister’s arrival in Kashi, State Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will welcome him.
