Gurugram. OYO Rooms founder Ritesh Agarwal’s father Ramesh Prasad Agarwal died on Friday under suspicious circumstances after falling from the 20th floor of the society. He lived in The Krusty Society of Sector-54. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took the dead body and sent it for postmortem. Later in the afternoon, the police got the post-mortem done and handed over the dead body to the relatives. The relatives have not given any complaint to the police in the matter.
Praveen Kumar, head constable of Sector-53 police station, told that the incident took place at around 12.15 pm. Ramesh Prasad Agarwal, 65, was present at home with his wife. He went to the balcony of his flat for some work at around 12.15 pm where suddenly his foot slipped and he fell down. Hearing the sound of falling down, the people living in the nearby flat and the security guard of the society reached the spot. Who sent Ramesh Prasad Agarwal to Paras Hospital where doctors declared him dead after examination.
As soon as the information was received, the Sector-53 police station reached the spot and took the body into custody and sent it for postmortem. The head constable said that the family members have not given any complaint against anyone in the case. The relatives told that they had no problem of any kind. Action has been taken under section 174 of CrPC in the matter. Let us tell you that Ritesh Agarwal, son of the deceased Ramesh Prasad Agarwal, is the founder of OYO Rooms and he lives with his family in The Crusty Society of Sector-54. Ritesh Aggarwal’s mother was present at home when the accident happened. The whole family is immersed in grief due to this accident.
