So far, 1,400 people have been killed in Gaza, while the Israeli death toll stands at 1,300. At the same time, Hamas has taken many more people hostage. Meanwhile, India is working hard and fast to evacuate its citizens and bring them home safely. Today, a wave of happiness was seen at New Delhi’s IGI Airport as the first batch of 212 Indians returned home from Israel under Operation Ajay Mission. Many students have expressed happiness over this.

There is fear and a lot of anger among the people. She also said that even when I was leaving, I heard the sounds of sirens and I had to go to the camp. Other student Soni thanked the Government of India and Israel for taking good care of him. I had booked two flights because I was not sure when the Indian government would evacuate us. But I am very happy to be back and there are many Indians still in Israel.
