Mallikarjun Kharge attacks PM Modi: The third meeting of the India Alliance has come to an end in Mumbai. After the meeting was over, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge attacked the Modi government. Kharge said that the countdown for the departure of this autocratic government has begun. He said that the country is slowly moving towards dictatorship. Apart from this, the Congress President has raised questions on calling a special session of Parliament. He said that there were so many crises, but the special session was not called till then. There was no discussion with anyone regarding calling the session.

The Congress president said that without asking the opposition, a special session of Parliament has been called. A special session of Parliament was not called even when Manipur was burning, when during the Covid-19 pandemic, a special session was never called on the China issue or on the issue of demonetisation and migrant labourers. He said that I do not know what is the agenda now. This is not the way to run the country. We are slowly moving towards dictatorship.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge further said that the meeting was well organized by all the parties. Earlier during talks at my residence a framework was prepared for the alliance, an agenda was decided in the Patna meeting. Now everyone in Mumbai has put forth their point in front of each other. Everyone has the same goal how to fight unemployment and rising fuel prices and LPG cylinder prices. They (BJP) first increased the prices and then reduced the prices marginally… I can say that Modi ji will never work for the poor.
