Mann Ki Baat Conclave: National Conclave program was organized in Delhi on the occasion of completion of 100 episodes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’. During this Union Home Minister Amit Shah (Amit Shah) released a commemorative coin on Wednesday i.e. 26 April. With this he said that this is a very important moment for me. I was given the opportunity to issue coins and postage stamps. Amit Shah said that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is such a program through which PM Narendra Modi interacted with the public for 99 episodes, but did not talk about politics in these episodes. He said that through the platform ‘Mann Ki Baat’, the work of organizing the power of the country was done, the success of democracy was displayed through 99 episodes.

Addressing the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ National Conclave program, Union Minister Amit Shah said that PM Modi has made a big contribution to democracy. He removed casteism, familyism and appeasement from politics. Performance is the only criterion, it has given a new direction to democracy. Shah said that there are many mediums of mass communication in a democracy and the PM chose All India Radio for mass communication. He said that I have been a big fan of All India Radio since childhood. I have heard many important things on All India Radio. After the Emergency, the defeat of a dictator was heard at 5 am on All India Radio’s bulletin that Indira Gandhi had been defeated. Along with this, I had heard about India’s victory over Bangladesh on All India Radio itself.

He said how derogatory the word handicapped was and we didn’t know we’d been using it for years. Modi ji did the work of making ‘disabled’ ‘Divyang’ with one episode of Mann Ki Baat and honored crores of people. PM Modi has made 2 major contributions to our democracy. One, he has freed the democratic system from casteism, nepotism and appeasement. Second, he has democratized the Padma Awards. Earlier Padma Awards were given on recommendation. Today the Padma Award is given to the smallest person, but the one who has made the biggest contribution.
