Cash For Query Scam: The Ethics Committee of Parliament will hear BJP leader and MP Nishikant Dubey and lawyer Jai Anand Dehadrai on October 26 on the “cash-for-query” complaint against Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has accused Moitra of “taking bribes to ask questions” in Parliament on behalf of businessman Darshan Hiranandani to target Adani Group and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In his complaint to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Nishikant Dubey alleged that out of the 61 questions asked by the Trinamool MP in Parliament, 50 were intended to “protect or sustain the business interests” of Hiranandani and his group. . The BJP MP demanded the Lok Sabha Speaker to constitute an “inquiry committee” to probe the allegations against Moitra.
Mahua Moitra rejected the allegations
The BJP MP also alleged that Mahua Moitra shared the login access of her Lok Sabha website with the businessman concerned. Dubey claimed that lawyer Jai Ananth Dehadrai had shared evidence of exchange of bribes between Moitra and Darshan Hiranandani. However, Moitra rejected these allegations of the BJP MP and said that the allegations being made by Dubey are absolutely wrong. There is no truth in it at all.
A 15-member committee of the Lok Sabha is investigating.
