IVPL 2023: Another cricket league is going to start in India on the lines of IPL. The name of this cricket league will be IVPL i.e. Indian Veteran Premier League. Many legendary players will participate in this league. These players include Virender Sehwag, former player of the Indian Cricket Team, Sanath Jayasuriya of Sri Lanka, former West Indies player Chris Gayle, known as Universe Boss. And big players like Suresh Raina will participate.
League will start in November
The first Indian Veteran Premier League (IVPL) is scheduled to start on November 17, 2023. Veteran cricketers like Virender Sehwag, Sanath Jayasuriya, Chris Gayle and Suresh Raina will participate in this experienced league. The tournament will be organized by the Indian Veterans Cricket Board and the Indian Power Cricket Academy.
A total of six teams will participate
A total of six teams will play in the tournament, each consisting of two foreign players and at least five former Ranji Trophy cricketers. Chris Gayle, popularly known as ‘Universe Boss’, recently played for VVIP Ghaziabad, Mumbai Lions, Rajasthan Legends, Chhattisgarh Sultans, Telangana Tigers and Delhi Capitals.
